Trainee Solicitor & Paralegal

We are now inviting applications for trainee and paralegal positions to start at various points in 2018.

Fosters operates an award winning Training Contract offering successful LPC graduates client-facing, hands on training designed to shape our next generation of lawyers into skilled professionals with rounded experience. Whilst historically we have recruited a number of Trainees annually on a rolling programme, we are currently inviting applications for positions commencing in 2018.

We welcome both a covering letter and CV from focused candidates with robust academic records and ideally relevant experience by the end of June 2017. First Round interviews will take place later in the year on dates in July and August to be determined once we have had an opportunity to shortlist.

Law degree and Graduate Diploma in Law graduates wishing to apply for paralegal positions should similarly forward a covering letter and CV as outlined above, specifying their interest in a paralegal position.

Work Experience

Law Degree Students & Graduate Diploma in Law Students

We are not currently accepting direct applications for work experience opportunities for law undergraduates. If you are interested in gaining experience in 2018 as an undergraduate, we are likely to be posting further details early on, next year.

18+ Students:

As a firm we are committed to offering work experience placements to students who are 18 years and over and not yet studying law in higher education. We have three placements available throughout the year for up to five working days which we allocate on a first come first served basis to suitable candidates. Enquiries should include a CV.

All our work experience placements for 2017 are fully subscribed and we are therefore unable to accept further applications this year. Organisation for work experience placements for 2018 begins on 1st September 2017. Please do not enquire before this date.

Residential Conveyancing – Norwich
Conveyancer / Legal Assistant – two positions

Due to continued growth we have two full time positions for experienced and forward thinking conveyancers / legal assistants to support one of our residential fee earners. This role is suited to someone who is comfortable to work on freehold and leasehold sales and purchases with a very good understanding of the conveyancing process. The role is based in a friendly but busy office environment. The right candidate will be able to demonstrate that they can work within a structured team with clear responsibilities but must be able to use their own initiative with the focus being on outstanding client care.
