On Saturday 27th January 2018 Partner Adrian Newborough ran a workshop for members of the Eastern Landlords Association at Ayton House in Wymondham. Members from around the region attended. Adrian gave advice upon sections 8 and sections 21 of the Housing Act 1988 and how the law affects residential landlords, gave practical guidance on managing tenancies, and reviewed procedures for bringing claims for possession and the recovery of rental arrears. This was the third workshop Adrian has run for the Association and due to demand will be presenting the same workshop later this year.
Fosters provides support services for the Eastern Landlords Association under its partnership agreement. Adrian Newborough said "It was a privilege to be asked by the Eastern Landlords Association to undertake this workshop. It is a vital area for landlords to get right and so it was good to see so many members in attendance debating openly within the forum of a workshop the problems they encounter on a daily basis. The Eastern Landlords Association is a members controlled organisation working exclusively for the benefit of its members, so it is great to be involved."
