Fosters send their congratulations to Stuart McKechnie of 9 Gough Square who was named Barrister of the Year at an awards ceremony in London on the 24th November.

Stuart was up against some stiff competition including a QC but he was judged to offer the overall mix of knowledge, client care and advocacy skills making him a worthy winner of the award.

Fosters’ Personal Injury Department has instructed Stuart for over 7 years and he has assisted on some of our highest profile, complex and high value cases including a catastrophic injury case where Fosters’ lawyer, Paul Kirby, recovered in excess of £7m. for a head injury victim. That case was extensively referred to by Stuart in his book “Guide to Catastrophic Injury Claims” which he co-authored with three other barristers.
