Chris
Brown
Chris is a Partner and Head of the Crime and
Defence Department. |
 |
| His work areas include
defending clients in relation to all types
of offence from motoring offences to murder,
but also defending prosecutions brought by
the Health & Safety Executive and local
Trading Standards departments. |
 |
| Chris is a skilled advocate
who appears in Court daily and is also a member
of the Duty Solicitor Scheme. |
 |
| Out of work, Chris is a
school governor, a season ticket holder at
Norwich City Football Club and main mover
behind the Fosters 5-Aside soccer team. |

Paul
Canwell
Paul has worked within the Crime & Defence
Department since 1997. |
 |
| Prior to joining Fosters,
he worked as a Police Officer for 30 years
in all divisions of the force including working
in schools as a drug liaison officer. |
 |
| He is an accredited police
station and duty solicitor representative
and prepares cases for Crown Court trial.

Debbie
Reynolds
Debbie trained with Fosters and qualified
as a solicitor in 2004. She is now
Deputy Head of the department and is becoming a
regular advocate on behalf of clients in the
Magistrates Court. |

| Out of work, Debbie enjoys
swimming and skiing and is a regular member
of the Fosters ladies 5-aside soccer team.

Simon
Rogers
Simon works within the Crime & Defence
Department where he carries out a mix of Magistrates
and Crown Court work and is the first port
of call for new clients. |

| A former Royal Marine,
he is in the process of becoming an Accredited
Police Station Representative. |
 |
| In his spare time he enjoys
most sports, particularly squash, paragliding
and mountaineering. |

Lucy
Naylor
Lucy is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal
Executives and works in the Crime & Defence
Department where she undertakes a mix of Magistrates
and Crown Court work. Lucy is currently on
maternity leave. |

Amy
Talford
Amy is working as a Paralegal within the
department whilst studying for her ILEX
qualification. On a day to day basis
she assists the head of department by seeing
clients, drafting statements, and liaising
with Counsel. |

Alison
McManus
Initially working as a paralegal within the
Family Law Department, Alison became a
trainee solicitor in July 2005 and moved to
join the Crime team in May 2006. |
 |
| She is a stalwart of the
Fosters Ladies 5-Aside soccer team where she
employs many of the skills learnt in her long
training as a ballet dancer. |
