Stephen
Green
Stephen is a Partner and Head of the Personal Injury and
Professional Negligence Department having qualified as
a solicitor in 1991. |
 |
| His first career was as
a retail manager and he is also a qualified
teacher. |
 |
| A member of the Association
of Personal Injury Lawyers, he has been on
the Law Society Personal Injury Panel since
1995 and specialises in accidents at work
also undertaking clinical negligence and new
precedent claims. |
 |
| Away from work he enjoys
reading, history and travel. |

Paul
Kirby
Paul is Deputy Head of the department, and one of our most experienced personal
injury lawyers, having been with Fosters for
over 10 years. He was employed for many years
within the insurance industry investigating
and defending claims. |
 |
| A long standing member
of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers,
he is a member of the specialist military
interest and product liability groups. |
 |
| Out of work, Paul enjoys
flying and gliding, being a senior instructor
affiliated to the Royal Air Force and achieving
second place in the UK Air League Competition
whilst representing the Eastern Counties.
He also enjoys shooting, cross country driving,
conservation and sailing. He is well known
in the department for his outgoing and engaging
personality. |

Heather
Duffy
A qualified solicitor since 1998, Heather
is a former nurse who now specialises in clinical
negligence, industrial accidents and disease
claims. She has also had considerable
success in pursuing 'stress at work' claims
and works closely with our Employment Team
in recognising and acting upon such claims. |

| She is a member of the
Norwich Medico-Legal Society and out of work
belongs to two choirs. |
 |
| She also enjoys motor rallying
in a variety of vintage cars. |

Jeremy
Ives
Now a consultant with the firm and working
in the Personal Injury and Professional
Negligence Department,
Jeremy’s particular areas of expertise
include workplace injuries and industrial
disease claims. He has also developed a niche specialism
in professional negligence claims,
particularly personal injury and property
matters based on his
many years of professional practice. |

Personal Injury Panel, the Association of
Personal Injury Lawyers and Norfolk &
Norwich Law Society, he is a keen shot and
successful yachtsman who also enjoys travel
and Commonwealth affairs.

Jacqueline
Lake
Jackie works within the Personal Injury and
Medical Law Department having qualified as
a solicitor in 1989. |
 |
| She specialises in claims
which require a particularly caring approach
such as sexual abuse cases, claims by children
and assault claims. Jackie is one of the few
lawyers to win a stress at work claim at trial.

| A member of the Law Society’s
Personal Injury Panel and Association of Personal
Injury Lawyers, she was the first woman president
of the Norfolk & Norwich Law Society and
is Deputy Coroner for Norwich and Central
Norfolk. |

Susan Sawyer
Susan is a trainee Legal Executive. Having
successfully passed Part 1 of the ILEX
examinations, she continues to study part
time.

case load of less complex personal injury
matters and Criminal Injury Compensation
Authority claims. |

Nicola Barlow
Nicola is a part qualified ILEX having
gained experience within a specialist
personal injury practice in Stockport.
She is currently building up her own case
load, but also assists other lawyers within
the department. She has recently
started studying for the remainder of her
ILEX qualification. |

Ian Hawkings
Following an earlier career in teaching, Ian
has recently completed his law degree and is
studying the Legal Practice Course part time. |
