Fosters is pleased to run an annual unpaid internship programme - unfortunately we are unable to accept applications from anyone under the age of 18. If you are under 18 and interested in a career in Law then please keep an eye out on our website for details on our Career Evenings.
We are able to offer one placement in each department included in the internship programme - on application you will be able to specify which department you would be interested in applying for.
You are invited to apply for an unpaid internship with Fosters Solicitors during the Summer of 2018. Successful candidates will take up the internship between June and September, the specific dates to be agreed with the interviewer.
Details Of Internships
Successful applicants will be placed at either the Wymondham, Norwich or Lowestoft offices of Fosters in one of the departments listed below for a placement of between two and four weeks. The position is unpaid. Opportunities are available in:
- Wills, Trusts and Probate (Wymondham and Norwich places available)
- Residential Property (Norwich and Lowestoft places available)
- Family and Childcare (Norwich only)
- Personal Injury (Norwich only)
- In-House (Norwich only)
You will have the opportunity on your application to specify which department you would be interested in working within. There is only one place available in each department. The placements are likely to begin in June but are yet to be confirmed and may be flexible. Successful applicants will be required to undertake the duties set out in the attached job descriptions during their placement.
Criteria For Applicants
In order to be eligible for an internship you should be able to demonstrate a good academic track record. In addition, applicants should be enthusiastic, good team players and have good IT skills. We are seeking applicants with good interpersonal skills who are non-judgemental and who can work independently within their allocated department. The nature of the work involved will require a fairly robust personality and a willingness to 'muck in' helping out where needed.
Timescale And Selection Process
Applications must be made using the attached application form and you must also provide an up to date CV. The closing date for applications is 5pm on 5th March 2018. All completed applications are to be emailed to Heather Brown (email@example.com) with a copy of your CV.
