Making a Will

The benefits of creating a valid Will cannot be understated.

  • You choose who shall (and shall not) benefit from your Estate
  • You ensure that your partner will be provided for
  • You can put restrictions and limitations on gifts that you make, for example ensuring that young children only get their gifts when they reach a responsible age
  • You can protect your family’s wealth by effective Inheritance Tax planning
  • You can protect your property and your children’s inheritance against the potential risk of sale to cover care home costs
  • You can protect the interests of your children from a previous relationship
  • You can appoint a guardian for children under the age of 18
  • You can make charitable gifts

If you die without leaving a valid Will you may unwittingly cause problems which can be difficult to sort out. In this situation, the law provides strict rules which spell out how your property and assets are to be shared. The effect may be not at all what you would have wanted.

I would very much like to thank you so very much for all your support and care.

We will prepare a Will that is tailor made for you and your situation.
