The Role

We are looking for a confident and personable team player to join our Residential Property department.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude with excellent client care skills to deliver an effective and efficient service whilst supporting a property lawyer.

Main responsibilities

  • Meeting and greeting clients and visitors.
  • File administration and drafting standard documentation.
  • Drafting and issuing sale contracts.
  • Ordering mortgage redemption figures.
  • Ordering searches and Anti-Money Laundering checks.
  • Answering the telephone, dealing with queries or passing on accurate messages.
  • Preparing basic Stamp Duty Land Tax forms.
  • Exchange and completion paperwork.
  • Providing quotes, taking instructions and on-boarding clients during busy periods.

You will be carefully trained on all of the above as well as the Anti-Money Laundering regulations, Lexcel standards and compliance within the property industry.

Knowledge of conveyancing is not necessary for this position, but the following are essential:

  • Attention to detail and the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Strong administration skills, well organised and able to multitask.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team player with the ability to organise your own workload and adapt and prioritise quickly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Further training will be provided and the opportunity to develop is available to the right candidate.
