About Doug

Doug was born in Perth, Western Australia, and moved to the United Kingdom with his English wife and son in 2002, when his semi-professional cricketing days came to an end. Doug has a son who is also a talented cricketer currently plying his trade in Western Australia. Over the years Doug has coached at several county cricket clubs as a second role helping a number of players go on to sign professional contracts.

In his spare time Doug still coaches several players and enjoys long walks (albeit begrudgingly) with his wife and their new addition to the family Rhodesian Ridgeback Floyd.
