How Zach can help you
Zach works closely with Doug Frame, an extremely experienced employment solicitor. As a team, they provide sound advice to those who need it, whether that be a business owner or an employee who faces the challenging situation of dismissal, redundancy or discrimination.
Zach completes a range of employment work for employers including the drafting of employment contracts, policies and settlement agreements. Both Zach and Doug also frequently advise employers on key internal HR issues, as well defending any Employment Tribunal claims that they may face. They offer assistance by way of drafting a defence, preparing witness statements, bundles of documents and litigating in the Tribunal.
Zach also regularly assists employees in assessing if they have a potential case, completing the ACAS process on their behalf, and assisting Doug in acting for the individual in an Employment Tribunal.
Zach has a keen interest in intellectual property, contract negotiation and debt recovery. In his first year at Fosters Solicitors, Zach has gained invaluable experience in these areas and continues to expand his knowledge and practical abilities on a daily basis.
Zach is a natural problem solver and thrives when presented with a challenge that has no clear answers. No problem is too large, and he enjoys assisting clients with any commercial difficulties or queries that may arise on a day to day basis.
Zach completed his degree in Philosophy and Ethics in 2019 at Oxford Brookes University. Having decided that he wanted to pursue a career in law some years earlier, he then undertook the Graduates Diploma of Law at Oxford Brookes University, which he completed in June 2020.
Zach was welcomed to Fosters Solicitors in September 2020 as a paralegal in the Business & Commercial department, shortly after being offered his training contract in the same team starting in January 2021. He also began studying his LPC combined with a LLM at the University of Law at this time.
In his spare time, Zach enjoys keeping fit, reading and cooking. He still has a passion for philosophy, particularly existentialism, and will often attempt to shoe-horn the topic into any conversation where it may fit.
