Born and bred in the Waveney Valley, Paul went to the Arch Bishop Sancroft Secondary School in Harleston. Upon leaving school he attended the Norfolk College of Arts & Technology (NORCAT) in Kings Lynn where he obtained a BEC National Diploma in Business Studies.

After a brief flirtation with banking, Paul found employment as an Office Junior at Steele & Co Solicitors in Harleston under the Youth Opportunities Scheme. He quickly progressed and started to learn about the law progressing to a stage where he could make minor court appearances. When a vacancy arose to assist the Chief Cashier Paul decided to take up a new challenge. His knowledge of Legal Accounts quickly developed and he was soon doing all the bookwork for 4 branch offices. He was made Chief Cashier shortly before leaving Steele & Co in 2001 to join Fosters.

At Fosters he assists the Finance Manager with the day to day running of a very busy accounts department.

Outside work Paul's interests include music and football. A country boy at heart he enjoys nothing better than walking his pet Spaniel, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
