Doug joined Fosters in October 2018 as Head of its Employment Department. Having completed his Law degree and Legal Practice Course at Anglia Ruskin University in 2007 and 2009 respectively and qualifying as a solicitor in 2011, Doug has represented clients in the employment tribunal, employment appeal tribunal and the high court. Doug has a special interest in discrimination claims but has represented employers and employees in all areas of employment law.

Doug joins the team having worked in Employment since 2007. Commenting on his employment Doug said, "I am looking forward to adding another dimension to the Business & Commercial team and providing all round employment law advice to clients. I am also excited to have the opportunity to further expand the firm's Sports law offering having spent most of my life involved in various sports both playing and coaching."

Outside of work Doug is still involved in cricket having finished his own playing days and is currently coach of the Suffolk under 17's team and non-paid overworked coach of his own son who aspires to be a professional cricketer one day.
