Phillip graduated in 2008 from De Montfort University with a degree in Law and moved to Norwich in 2009 where he studied the Legal Practice Course in 2010 at Anglia Ruskin University. He was offered a training contract with Norfolk County Council where he qualified as a solicitor in 2016.

During his employment with Norfolk County Council Phillip gained a wealth of commercial experience which included drafting and negotiating high value contracts for goods and services including construction contracts, acting on the commercial elements of academy conversions and advising directors on many aspects of their business. Phillip was also exposed to a wide range of property, planning, employment and construction matters and was retained as a solicitor acting on planning, highways and environmental matters from June 2016 to December 2018.

Phillip joined Fosters in December 2018 as a Corporate solicitor and is based within the Business & Commercial department of the Norwich office and brings with him well rounded commercial experience and expertise of local authorities.

Outside of work, Phillip enjoys spending time with friends and family, theatre, history, space and computer games.
