Fosters Solicitors to support Finnbar’s Force in 2024

Fosters Solicitors is delighted to announce its new charity of the year for 2024 as Finnbar’s Force.

The Hethersett-based charity was launched in 2017 with a focus on childhood brain tumours and supporting children with cancer. It was formed by the parents of Finnbar Cork, who sadly died from an aggressive brain tumour, aged just five.

The charity’s focus is on fundraising, awareness, brain tumour research projects and family support. Throughout 2024, Fosters Solicitors will be focusing its own internal fundraising efforts on supporting the charity with their objectives, as well as providing volunteers for their events around Norfolk.

Events already planned for 2024 include a charity ball, golf day, family adventure day and Christmas lights switch on.

Chris Brown, Fosters Solicitors’ Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted to be working with Finnbar’s Force as our charity of the year for 2024. The charity was both nominated and voted for by our staff from across the firm, as the one they wished for us to focus our collective fundraising efforts on this year.

“This will mean all our monthly dress down days, quiz nights and other activities will all go towards this wonderful local charity – and equally important to us is the fostering of a partnership through volunteering and direct staff support to hopefully help make a key contribution to the wonderful work Finnbar’s Force do in our community.

Tristan Cork, Finnbar’s father, and charity co-founder, commented: “We are honoured to have been chosen as Fosters Solicitors’ charity of the year – it really means a lot to us to have gained the support of such a well-established and highly regarded business. Together, we’ll make a real difference to the lives of families living locally who are going through unimaginably difficult times. We’d like to thank the whole team for voting for us and can’t wait to get started with this exciting partnership!
