Back in June 2011, Fosters became the first official legal partner of a professional football club in the country, when we signed a long-term partnership deal with Norwich City Football Club.

Over 12 years later, we still remain a Primary Partner of the Canaries, as well as supporting their Community Hero initiative and the Norwich City Fans Social Club, who help raise funds for the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation.

Since 2019 we have joined our partners Norwich City Football Club in highlighting the great work of local individuals and organisations in our community.

Every month during the football season, a ‘Community Hero’ is chosen for a selected matchday – providing an opportunity to showcase that person(s) or initiatives selfless work or important community campaign.

Previous Community Heroes have included young carers, veterans, equality campaigners, charity fundraisers and their beneficiaries.

Since October 2017, we have supported the Norwich City Fans Social Club.

NCFSC is run by a team of dedicated volunteers who organise events for Norwich City Football Club supporters, with the aim of bringing together the football club community and fundraising for the Canaries’ official charity, the Community Sports Foundation (CSF).

Since their first event back in August 2015, the group has managed to raise over £55,000 for the Community Sports Foundation. The money going towards the charity’s objectives of driving inclusion for people with disabilities, boosting mental health and wellbeing, and supporting disadvantaged people to raise their aspirations.
