We represent individuals in all aspects of Family Law, such as pre and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, divorce, civil partnership dissolution, separation, children matters (where they will live and how often they spend time with you), court proceedings and domestic abuse.

Our expert, friendly team can offer you confidential, informative advice and assistance, in an environment you can trust.

Our lawyers are supported by excellent staff which ensures that our clients receive unparalleled service. We understand the importance of providing sound legal advice and offering pragmatic solutions, which are tailored to our clients’ particular set of circumstances.

We offer both private and publicly funded assistance to our clients. You will have a named lawyer to represent you and will be able to speak to an experienced member of our team in person, by telephone, email or video-call at a time to suit you.

Funding

Your individual lawyer will advise you on their charging rates and any other anticipated costs, once they have a clearer idea of your case, your aims and any potential challenges involved.

We believe our rates are extremely reasonable and represent good value for money. However, if finances are challenging, we are always happy to consider how we can assist, perhaps by way of payment in instalments or another payment plan.

Legal aid (or public funding as it was previously known) is only available in extremely limited circumstances, subject to your income and the merits of your case. We can advise you as to whether or not you are eligible at your initial contact with us. Further information is also available on the government website.

Family Mediation

For those participating in Family Mediation, the following costs apply:

  • an introductory session, or MIAM is £90 plus VAT per person.
  • a one-and-a-half hour mediation session is £160 plus VAT per person.

Although dependent on your personal circumstances, on average one to four sessions are normally undertaken.
