We believe that our rich history helps us shape our direction of travel for the future. As one of the oldest law firms in England, Fosters has proved itself to be adaptable and resilient through centuries of change. It means we operate not for the sole benefit of one generation of owners or clients, but generations of clients, businesses and colleagues.
We are proud that our commitment to that ethos has been recognised time and again. From our long history of winning significant legal awards to the feedback we receive from our clients, all of it helps us reflect on what has been achieved while we focus on moving forward.
Established in 1761, both the firm and its people have lived and served through some significant historical events.

The criteria headings are customer insight, the culture of the organisation, information and access, delivery and timeliness and quality of service.
