Applications open for 2024 Summer Vacation Scheme

We are delighted to confirm applications are now open for our annual Summer Vacation Scheme.

This is an exciting opportunity for students to gain practical experience working with us in our award-winning practice areas.

We will be offering two-week voluntary placements in our Norwich office for up to seven students to work within our Business & Commercial, Personal Injury & Group Actions, Medical Negligence & Inquests, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Crime & Business Defence, Family & Children and Wills, Trusts & Probate departments.

Successful applicants will undertake a variety of tasks including research, working on current client files under supervision, attending client meetings and completing general administrative tasks.

The scheme will run between the 24th June and 5th July 2024, and depending on the final applicants and the casework of the participating departments, each student will spend time with at least two different teams. Working hours during these two weeks will be 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidates will:

  • Have at least three A Levels at grade B or higher.
  • Be interested in the Legal sector.
  • Be willing to learn new skills.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Be well organised and self-motivated.
  • Have the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Be confident in dealing with the general public.

Whilst our ideal candidates will be in their second year or higher at university or college, we will consider applications made by first years as well. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept applications from anyone under the age of 18.
