Fosters Solicitors Anglian Combination Grassroots Hero

Is there someone who goes above and beyond for your grassroots football team?

If so, we would love to hear from you as part of our newly launched competition, in association with our partners, The Anglian Combination Football League.

We are asking teams from across all of the Anglian Combination’s seven divisions, to nominate an outstanding unsung volunteer or staff member for our Grassroots Hero Award.

We are looking for nominees who put their clubs before themselves, dedicate their spare time to keeping them running and are always there come rain or shine!

As well as recognising the wonderful efforts of that individual, the winner of the Fosters Solicitors Anglian Combination Grassroots Hero Award will also secure a brand-new Macron kit for their team for the 2023-24 season, courtesy of Fosters Solicitors and league kit and equipment partners, Macron Store Norwich.

To apply and nominate a Grassroots Hero, teams are asked to send either a written application of no more than 750 words with a photograph of their nominee, or a video clip, to grassroots@fosters-solicitors.co.uk by 23:59 on Thursday 23rd March 2023. Within your application, please provide the full name of your team and nominee, detailing why you think they should win the award and provide examples of what they do for the team that sets them apart.

In April 2021, Fosters and Anglian Combination Football League were delighted to announce a new partnership, which saw Fosters become the new title sponsor of the league for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons, as well as supporting three of its league cup competitions and its annual charity match, the Don Frost Cup.
