Fosters Solicitors is delighted to confirm the appointment of three additional Board members.

Partners, Chris Fielding, Damien Moore and Rebecca Laws have joined the firm’s Board with immediate effect, bringing the total number of members to nine.

Each of them is vastly experienced and recognised in their own field, with longstanding service and leadership across the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution (Fielding), Crime & Business Defence (Moore) and Residential Property (Laws) teams.

Fosters has enjoyed another healthy year of percentage increase in turnover and delivery on several core business development projects – including a complete brand refresh and implementation of our new website and HR system.

Chris Brown, Chief Executive of Fosters Solicitors, commented: “Our plan is for the business to continue to grow, and we have felt for some time that this will be best achieved by ensuring that there is a greater spread of representation of individual departments at Board level, as well as those who manage central functions in the firm.

“We are therefore delighted that Chris, Damien and Rebecca have taken positions on the Board, expanding the talent around the table and bringing with them huge enthusiasm for the development of Fosters. Their appointment also shows our career development programme in action, highlighting how colleagues from across the firm can aspire to working their way to top leadership roles.

Chris Fielding added: Having trained to be a litigation lawyer and developed my entire legal career at Fosters, joining the Board has been the culmination of hard work and ambition. I’ve been fortunate in finding the perfect fit at the outset, so my progression has been organic here, Fosters to me has always been a wonderful place to work and I am so delighted to be part of the leadership group that will now take the firm forward.

“I have witnessed the fortunes of this firm increase significantly year-on-year through really smart thinking and change, and with such dedicated partners and firm wide cohesion, I believe more of that positive growth is inevitable.

Damien Moore said: “It was a real privilege to be invited to join the Board at Fosters. Having seen the firm develop over the last 15 years, I am delighted that I will now play an integral part in shaping its future, as we seek to grow and expand our business in the years ahead.

I am proud to be part of an organisation which has a really inclusive and positive culture and these are exciting times for the firm. Together with our valued and talented colleagues, we will push forward with our growth plans to ensure that we continue to offer the very best service to our clients for many years to come.”

Rebecca Laws commented: “It has been a privilege to work alongside my colleagues and business owners for the last 17 years, watching Fosters flourish and diversify.  I am proud of our culture and values internally, which includes our core commitment to providing a high-quality legal service to our local community and national clients.

“I am therefore absolutely delighted to join the Board. We believe we have the people, the strategy and the shared vision and ideas through our people to continue to move the business forward.”
