National Conveyancing Week 2023

Today sees the start of National Conveyancing Week 2023 (20th – 24th March).

The aim of the initiative is to bring together organisations from across the property industry to collaborate and share knowledge on topical issues affecting the sector – as well as helping improve the profile and understanding surrounding conveyancing as part of the home moving process.

At Fosters Solicitors, we have one of the largest conveyancing teams in our region, with both our Residential and Commercial Property departments helping to support hundreds of people each year with their legal needs.

Therefore we will be using this week as a further opportunity to join together with industry colleagues, including the Bold Legal Group, to discuss a legislative change that is having a significant impact – the Building Safety Act 2022.

We are hosting an informal event with local organisations to explain how we are approaching and advising those being affected by the Act, especially in the case of leasehold transactions – as well as using it as an opportunity to understand the experiences of those in other parts of the property sector, including estate agents and mortgage advisors.

For more information about our event, or if you would like to understand more about the Building Safety Act, please contact Rebecca Laws, our Head of Residential Property. For further information about National Conveyancing Week , please visit the website.
