Paige Gouldthorpe named Chair of Women in Wills

Paige Gouldthorpe, our Deputy Head of Wills, Trusts & Probate, has been confirmed as the new Chair for the national networking group Women in Wills.

Women in Wills was founded in 2017 by Karen Babington as a personal and professional support network for women working in the private client sector, and has grown to a membership of over 1500 people across the country.

Commenting on the news, Paige said: “I feel so blessed to be given the opportunity to be Chair of such a formidable group of women. What I adore about the group is its dedication to empowering women in the private client sector and providing a support network to all when facing challenges in our careers. This year I will certainly be focusing on promoting inclusion and diversity in the industry and giving back to charitable causes.

“I am excited to enhance the profile of the group on a national basis, be a voice for the voiceless, and promote inclusion and diversity in our sector.  I am truly excited to meet likeminded professionals at our in person events.  2024 will be the year of empowerment and collaboration!”

Speaking to Today’s Wills & Probate, Karen Babington commented: “It was heartening to receive such a diverse and high standard of applications from all corners of the UK which made selecting a single candidate very difficult. We are delighted that Paige has accepted the position with the full backing of her law firm. Paige brings a plethora of ideas, energy and enthusiasm to Women in Wills to take the group to the next level. It’s not a one woman job and I would appeal to our ‘tribe’ within the group to reach out and offer Paige support where you can. I look forward to working with Paige in the initial months to get us off to a flying start.”
