Serena enjoyed studying a variety of different areas of law, including mergers and acquisitions, the law of the sea and employment law.
Before starting her training contract in September 2022, Serena joined the firm and gained experience as a paralegal in our Litigation & Dispute Resolution department. She has also worked alongside our Wills, Trusts & Probate team.
Serena has previous administrative experience in residential law at another East Anglian firm. In addition to this, Serena was a volunteer for Norfolk Community Law Service, conducting client appointments and representing cases of welfare rights at a tribunal.
Serena provides support in all areas of family law work including divorce and finances, care proceedings, and private child matters.
In her current role, she helps to ensure that clients are updated with the progress of their matters.

About Serena
Outside of work, Serena enjoys spending time at the beach, travelling around the world and volunteering for animal charities.
Serena graduated from the University of East Anglia with a first-class law degree. During university, Serena took an active role in the UEA Law Society. Alongside her position as head of a popular law society competition, she participated in seven different university competitions as part of the first year of her degree.
Serena was also a part of the Networking Society at university and is currently a committee member of the Norfolk & Norwich Junior Lawyers Division, having previously been President in 2023.
