Cyclist wins injury claim for faulty bike frame
Robert was injured after falling from his electric bike when the faulty frame broke.
The incident resulted in Robert fracturing his arm, requiring two operations and two months off work.

Robert’s case
Robert had purchased an electric bike from a specialist shop. Whilst riding the bike through Central London the frame snapped in half, throwing him to the ground and causing him to land heavily on his right shoulder and arm, causing a complex fracture of the humerus.
Robert required two operations and was off work for eight weeks.
Robert initially made direct contact himself with the insurers acting on behalf of the bike shop and following investigations it was discovered the bike was defective and liability was admitted. A medical expert was instructed by the insurers but after months of chasing the insurers and receiving no response, Robert instructed Fosters Solicitors to act for him in the claim.
