To celebrate the renewal of our partnership with Norwich City Football Club, we are delighted to be running two exciting Canary themed competitions.

The first is the chance to win a Norwich City souvenir bundle, which includes a signed first team shirt, two first team match tickets for the Canaries’ Premier League clash with Burnley at Carrow Road on Sunday, 10th April 2022 – and a £100 City merchandise gift voucher to spend in-store or online.

Hospitality tickets for Tottenham Hotspur match

We would like to offer up to four organisations the opportunity to each win a pair of tickets for the Fosters’ executive box at Carrow Road for the Canaries’ final home Premier League game of the season against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, 22nd May 2022. This package will also include a buffet and match day programme.

Terms and conditions apply for both competitions and are listed below.

 

1. The Competition – The NCFC Souvenir Bundle

1.1 Fosters Solicitors LLP (“Fosters”) is working alongside Norwich City Football Club Plc (“NCFC”) to provide individuals with the opportunity to enter into a prize competition for the chance to win the prize (as detailed at paragraph 4 below) (the “Competition”), subject to the conditions below.

1.2 The promoter of the Competition is Fosters.

2. How to Enter

2.1 The Competition will run from 10:00AM on 12 February 2022 (the “Opening Date”) to 5:00PM on 7 March 2022 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive (all times GMT).

2.2 All Competition entries must be received by Fosters by no later than 5:00PM on the Closing Date.

2.3 All Competition entries received by Fosters after 5:00PM on the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.

2.4 To enter the Competition, you must send an email to ncfc@fosters-solicitors.co.uk with the
following details:

i. your full name;
ii. your address;
iii. your email address; and
iv. your contact number

(completing i. to iv. on the email constitutes an “Entry Email” and successfully submitting the Entry Email in accordance with paragraph 2.4 above constitutes a “Valid Entry”).

2.5 By submitting an Entry Email pursuant to paragraph 2.4 above (and irrespective of whether it is a Valid Entry), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2.6 One Valid Entry per person only shall be accepted by Fosters. If multiple Valid Entries are submitted by you, Fosters shall only count one such Valid Entry as being submitted.

2.7 Anyone under the age of 18 must have their parents’ or guardians’ consent before entering the Competition. In providing their consent, the party or guardian acknowledge the content of paragraph 6.4.

2.8 Fosters will not accept:

(a) responsibility for Competition entries that are unsuccessful or not received by 5:00PM on the Closing Date as a result of equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind;

(b) proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Competition; or

(c) responsibility for any failure or inability to make contact with you due to any errors or inaccuracies in the contact details provided on the Entry Email.

3. Eligibility

3.1 The competition is open to all residents in the UK, except employees or family members of employees of Fosters or NCFC.

3.2 In entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize (as defined in paragraph 4.1). Fosters may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition.

3.3 Fosters will not accept Competition Entry Emails that are:

(a) automatically generated by computer;

(b) completed by third parties in bulk;

(c) illegible, incomplete or otherwise not Valid Entries.

3.4 Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.

3.5 Fosters reserves the right to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Competition.

4. The Prize

4.1 There is one prize of an NCFC souvenir bundle consisting of:

(a) one signed first team shirt;
(b) two first team match tickets in accordance with paragraphs 6.3 and 6.4; and
(c) £100 Norwich City FC merchandise gift voucher.
(the “Prize”)

4.2 The Prize (in whole or in part) is subject to availability, must be taken as stated and there is no cash alternative for the Prize.

4.3 You acknowledge and accept that with regards to the two first team match tickets Fosters does not guarantee you admission to the NCFC stadium if you (and your guest, if applicable) is banned or refused entry to the NCFC stadium for any reason.

4.4 The Prize is not negotiable or transferrable.

5. Winner

5.1 The winner of the Competition will be picked at random by Fosters from all Valid Entries received. The result of the Competition will be determined by a blind prize draw, the decision is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

5.2 Fosters will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Closing Date, using the contact number and/or the email address provided on the Entry Email.

5.3 Fosters will either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation Fosters will publish the name of the winning entrant via Fosters’ social media accounts and an article on the Fosters website, after the Closing Date.

5.4 If you object to the details in paragraph 5.3 being published or made available, you must contact Fosters via ncfc@fosters-solicitors.co.uk. In such circumstances, Fosters must still provide the information and Valid Entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

6. Claiming the Prize

6.1 Fosters will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available within two of days of being contacted, Fosters reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the Valid Entries that were received before the Closing Date.

6.2 Fosters Solicitors LLP does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the Prize.

6.3 Subject to paragraph 6.4, the Prize shall entitle you to two adult first team match tickets (which can be passed to an adult family member or friend at the approval of Fosters) for an NCFC home match of Fosters’ choosing and in a location within the stadium of Fosters’ choosing.

6.4 If you are under the age of 16, your parent or guardian shall be responsible for purchasing an additional first team match ticket for the same match to allow them, or a responsible adult over the age of 18, to accompany you during the match (unless you have passed one of the tickets to them already).

6.5 You must make your own travel arrangements to attend the match and collect the Prize without any liability to Fosters and you shall comply with all applicable policies and/or rules of NCFC when attending the NCFC stadium and any reasonable instructions given by Fosters with regards to the Prize.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, Fosters, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner of the Prize or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Fosters, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

8.1 You agree that Fosters may, but is not required to, make your entry to the Competition available on its website www.fosters-solicitors.co.uk and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the Competition. You agree to grant Fosters a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the Competition entry to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the Competition Entry Email for such purposes.

9. Data Protection and Publicity

9.1 Fosters will only process your personal information as set out at https://www.fosters-solicitors.co.uk/about/privacy-policy. See also paragraphs 5.3 and 5.4, with regard to the announcement of the winner.

10. General

10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Fosters may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you participating in the Competition.

10.2 Fosters reserves the right to void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Competition at its discretion.

10.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

 

The Competition – Fosters Executive Box

Fosters Solicitors LLP (“Fosters”) is working alongside Norwich City Football Club Plc (“NCFC”) to provide business organisations with the opportunity to enter into a prize competition for the chance to win a prize (as detailed at clause 4 below) (the “Competition”), subject to the conditions below.

The Competition is open to businesses and not individuals unless they are entering on behalf of a business (“Eligible Participants”).

1.2          The promoter of the Competition is Fosters.

  1. How to Enter

2.1          The Competition will run 10:00 12 February 2022 (the “Opening Date”) to 5:00PM on 7 March 2022 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive (all times GMT).

2.2          All Competition entries must be received by Fosters by no later than 5:00PM on the Closing Date.

2.3          All Competition entries received by Fosters after 5:00PM on the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.

2.4 To enter the Competition, representatives of Eligible Participants (each a “Representative”) must send an email to ncfc@fosters-solicitors.co.uk with the following details:

i.the business name of the Eligible Participant;

ii. the business address of the Eligible Participant;

iii.full name of the Representative completing the email;

iv.address of the Representative completing the email;

v.email address of the Representative completing the email; and

vi.contact number of the Representative completing the email.

(completing i. to vi. above on the email constitutes an “Entry Email” and successfully submitting the Entry Email in accordance with paragraph 2.4 above constitutes a “Valid Entry”).

2.5          By submitting an Entry Email pursuant to clause 2.4 above (and irrespective of whether it is a Valid Entry), the Representative agrees (for his or herself and on behalf of the Eligible Participant) to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2.6          One Valid Entry per Eligible Participant only shall be accepted by Fosters, irrespective of whether such entry is submitted by a different Representative. If multiple Valid Entries are submitted by Representatives for an individual Eligible Participant, Fosters shall only count one such Valid Entry as being submitted.

2.7          Any Representatives under the age of 16 must have their parents’ or guardians’ consent before entering the Competition and clause 4.1 (in respect of Guests) shall apply.

2.8          Fosters will not accept:

a.responsibility for Competition entries (irrespective of whether or not they are Valid Entries) that are unsuccessful or not received by 5:00PM on the Closing Date as a result of equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind;

b.proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Competition; or

c. responsibility for any failure or inability to make contact with an Eligible Participant (and/or their Representative) due to any errors or inaccuracies in the contact details provided on the Entry Email.

  1. Eligibility

3.1          The Competition is open to all residents of the UK who are Eligible Participants (including Representatives on their behalf), except employees or family members of employees of Fosters or NCFC.

3.2          In entering the Competition the Representative confirms that he or she is eligible to do so (either being an owner of, or professionally connected to the Eligible Participant, and in any event, by being authorised by the Eligible Participant to do so) and eligible to claim the Prize (as defined in paragraph 4.1). Fosters may require the Representative to provide proof that he or she is eligible to enter the Competition.

3.3          Fosters will not accept Competition entries that are:

a.automatically generated by computer;

b.completed by third parties in bulk;

c.illegible, incomplete or otherwise not Valid Entries.

3.4          Entries on behalf of another person (including another Representative) will not be accepted and joint submissions on a separate email for multiple Eligible Participants are not allowed.

3.5          Fosters reserves the right to disqualify any Eligible Participant (including its Representative) if the Representatives conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Competition.

  1. The Prize

4.1          There are four separate prizes (for four winners picked in accordance with paragraph 5.1), each prize consisting of entry for up to two individuals (one of whom must be a responsible adult over the age of 18) selected by each winning Eligible Participant (“Guests”) to the Fosters Executive Box in the Regency Stand at Norwich City Football Club, Carrow Road (Norwich) (the “Prize”) for the Canaries’ final home Premier League game of the season against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday 22 May 2022 at 4:00PM (the “Match”).

4.2          Fosters may (at its sole discretion) nominate up to four of its employees to be present in its Executive Box on the same date and time specified in paragraph 4.1 above (or for any Alternative Match as defined below) in order to host the Guests.

4.3          The Representative of each winning Eligible Participant shall inform Fosters of the identity of its Guests and provide Fosters with any information regarding the Guests as reasonably requested prior to the date of the Match (or if applicable, the Alternative Match). Any Guests not notified to Fosters within a reasonable time of the Match or Alternative Match (as the case may be) may not be granted entry to the Fosters Executive Box.

4.4          The Eligible Participant (including the Representative) acknowledges and accepts that Fosters does not guarantee any Guest admission to the NCFC stadium and therefore the Fosters Executive Box, including (but not limited to) if any such Guest is banned or refused entry to the NCFC stadium for any reason.

4.5          The Prize is strictly subject to the Match taking place. In the event that any factor beyond the reasonable control of Fosters prevents the Match taking place (including, but not limited to restrictions imposed by the UK government in response to Covid-19 or any variant of Covid-19), Fosters may at its sole discretion change the date and time that the Prize becomes available to a date and time in the future where the Match is re-scheduled or a date and time of an alternative match with any other team (in which case Fosters will try and accommodate any reasonable request from each winner but shall not be obliged to do so) (“Alternative Match”).

4.6          In the event the Match (or any Alternative Match) does not take place for a period of six months from Sunday 22 May 2022, the Prize shall be forfeited at the discretion of Fosters with no further liability to any winner (including its Representative and its Guests).

4.7          Notwithstanding paragraph 4.5, the Prize must be taken as stated and no cash alternative (or any alternative generally) shall be provided.

4.8          The Prize is not negotiable or transferrable.

  1. Winner

To comply with this obligation Fosters will publish the business name of the winning Eligible Participants via Fosters’ social media accounts and an article on the Fosters website, after the Closing Date.

5.4          If the Representative (on behalf of the Eligible Participant) objects to the details in paragraph 5.3 being published or made available, he or she must contact Fosters via ncfc@fosters-solicitors.co.uk. In such circumstances, Fosters must still provide the information and Valid Entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

  1. Claiming the Prize

6.1          Fosters will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winners. If any winner cannot be contacted or is not available within two of days of being contacted, Fosters reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the Valid Entries that were received before the Closing Date.

6.2          Each winner must notify Fosters of its Guests within the timeframe specified by Fosters as per paragraph 4.3.

6.3          Each winner (and its Guests) must make their own travel arrangements to attend the Match (or any Alternative Match as the case may be) without any liability to Fosters and shall comply with all applicable policies and/or rules of NCFC when attending the stadium of NCFC and any reasonable instructions given by Fosters including but not limited to arrangements for accessing the Fosters Executive Box.

6.4          The Guests (including the Representative if attending the Match or Alternative Match as part of the Prize) may be asked to provide proof of identity before access to the Fosters Executive Box is permitted.

  1. Indemnity

7.1          The Representative agrees to indemnify, and keep indemnified in full, Fosters against any damage or loss caused to the Fosters Executive Box, either by him or herself, or his or her Guests.

  1. Limitation of Liability

8.1          Insofar as is permitted by law, Fosters, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners of the Prize (including the Eligible Participants and Guests) or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Fosters, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. The Representative’s statutory rights are not affected.
