Associate / Deputy Head of Business & Commercial

Charlotte is an Associate Solicitor and deputy head of our Business & Commercial department. She holds a key role within our Fosters In House team, assisting the firm’s business clients with all aspects of their commercial needs, including consumer and regulatory guidance, supplier and service agreements, intellectual property management and contract drafting and negotiation.

Since completing her training contract with Fosters Solicitors and qualifying into the Business & Commercial Department in 2019, Charlotte offers clients considered and valued commercial advice on a broad range of commercial matters.

With a focus on adapting to the client’s requirements and adding value to their organisation, Charlotte’s approach is with a key focus on understanding a client’s business, its needs and motivations, and tailoring her advice and support appropriately.

Charlotte has also developed a niche Intellectual Property offering within the department and is able to give wider support by way of protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including trademark registration and copyright application and assignment.

Charlotte is recognised as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ in The Legal 500 2024 in the categories Commercial and Corporate, Debt Recovery, Intellectual Property and Media, Entertainment and Sport. Charlotte also played a vital part in the accreditation of the Law Society Award 2019 for Business Development for our In House service.

Charlotte joined Fosters in 2014 having returned to Norfolk after completing her Law degree to undertake the Legal Practice Course at BPP University, and now enjoys life in Mid-Norfolk, spending time with family and friends and long-distance walks with her unruly labrador.
